-Quercus alba
-If the White Oak tree is found in a humid environment on a regular basis it enables the tree to grow fungus called Oak wilt. Fungi of the Botryosphaeria species infect white oak trees also. Shoestring root rot is another infection to the White Oak; it's a fungal disease that first infects the white oak tree's roots. From there, it spreads through the rest of the plant. Also, the fungus Taphrina caerulescens causes oak leaf blister.
-The White Oak is important to both people and the wildlife. The acorns are used by wildlife and to the Native Americans; they use the acorns to make flour. The White Oak is also used for a high quality wood which makes many things.
-White Oak shares similar characteristics with black oak, red oak and northern pin oak trees.
-White Oak is used for furniture making and flooring, timber frame buildings, and for veneer production.
-Twig: slender, smooth, somewhat shiny, gray, whitish, or even purplish; pith star-shaped in cross-section; leaf scars alternate but crowded near tip of twig.
-The White Oak is native to the eastern North America, from southern Quebec west to eastern Minnesota, and south to northern Florida and eastern Texas.

Step 2: The hydrogen bonds break off and the DNA is breaking.

Step 3: Strand 1 gets a new strand 2 and strand 2 gets a new strand 1.

Step 4: End result: two identical DNA strands.
